Human Cardiac Progenitor Cells, Prenatal enable research on heart development, cardiomyocyte commitment, and regenerative mechanisms in cardiac biology.
Human Cardiac Progenitor Cells (Prenatal) are isolated from enzymatically dissociated whole human heart tissue. These cells are derived from a single prenatal donor and cryopreserved at early passage. These cells typically display spindle-shaped or polygonal morphology. They exhibit strong expression of vimentin and other cardiac developmental markers, enabling researchers to generate highly purified populations of cardiomyocytes and their progenitors. These human heart-derived cells are suitable for a wide range of in vitro, in vivo, or transplantation-based studies in both normal and diseased systems. They provide a valuable model for cardiac toxicology assessments and cardiovascular development research. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve cell viability and functionality during handling and expansion.

Human Cardiac Progenitor Cells (Prenatal) are derived from prenatal heart tissue and are especially useful for exploring early heart development and lineage specification. They are capable of differentiating into cardiomyocytes and other cardiac cell types, providing a robust platform for developmental biology studies and regenerative medicine. These cells are also relevant for modeling congenital heart conditions and testing cardioprotective agents.
