The human cKIT (V559D_Y823D) BAF3 cell line is designed for tumor mutation and resistance research, supporting signal transduction and drug screening.
Human cKIT (V559D_Y823D) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine Ba/F3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. cKIT (V559D_Y823D) mutant cell line is generated by lentiviral transduction of the human cKIT gene carrying two oncogenic mutations: V559D in the juxtamembrane domain and Y823D in the activation loop.
Target
The V559D mutation causes ligand-independent dimerization and activation of cKIT, while Y823D enhances downstream kinase activity, driving strong proliferative and survival signals. This dual mutation model is relevant for studying acquired resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors in cancer. AcceGen offers stable expression models for detailed signal transduction research. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
