Human EGFR (S645C) BAF3 Cell Line serves as a research tool to explore EGFR mutation effects on proliferation, transformation, and drug resistance.
Human EGFR (S645C) BAF3 Overexpression Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from Ba/F3 murine pro-B cells, expressing the human EGFR gene with a S645C point mutation. The mutation is introduced through lentiviral vector-mediated stable integration. Clonal populations are maintained at low passage (<P20) and verified by qRT-PCR for gene expression. Target EGFR encodes a cell surface receptor that initiates mitogenic signaling via PI3K/AKT and RAS/MAPK pathways. The S645C mutation, located in the C-terminal domain, has been implicated in ligand-independent activation and oncogenic signaling. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers' research needs.
