Description

Human FGFR2 (C491S) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine Ba/F3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. FGFR2 (C491S) BAF3 mutant cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human FGFR2 gene harboring the C491S mutation into Ba/F3 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors.
Target
FGFR2 is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase that regulates cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation through FGF signaling. The C491S mutation disrupts a conserved cysteine residue in the extracellular domain, promoting ligand-independent dimerization and constitutive activation. This mutation is associated with tumorigenesis in endometrial and gastric cancers. AcceGen provides customized cell models featuring oncogenic mutations for pathway and drug discovery research.
