Human Mammary Fibroblasts are ideal for in vitro studies exploring stromal–epithelial interactions, extracellular matrix remodeling, and stromal contributions to breast development and disease. They are widely used in 3D co-culture models to examine normal branching morphogenesis and tumor-stroma crosstalk, as well as to investigate how fibroblast-derived VEGF drives angiogenesis under hypoxic conditions in breast tissue. These cells also serve as critical controls in cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF) studies, helping to decipher how stromal reprogramming contributes to tumor progression, invasion, fibrosis, and therapy resistance.
