Description

Human Monocytes-Negatively Selected are derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using a non-activating immunomagnetic method that removes CD3⁺, CD19⁺, CD56⁺, and other unwanted cells, enriching for untouched CD14⁺ monocytes at a high purity and preserving their native state. These negatively selected human monocytes display typical monocyte morphology—characterized by round, agranular cells with prominent nuclei—and maintain steady expression of CD14 and CD16. Post-isolation, these monocytes are cryopreserved to retain high viability and functional integrity. As primary cells, they are non-transformed and exhibit limited proliferative capacity, making them unsuitable for continuous passaging. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
