Human MPL (W515R) BAF3 Cell Line, MPL, BAF3, Overexpression Stable Cell Lines, Transfected Stable Cell Lines
Human MPL (W515R) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine pro-B Ba/F3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. MPL (W515R) BAF3 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human MPL (W515R) mutant gene into BAF3 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The MPL gene encodes the thrombopoietin receptor, a member of the cytokine receptor family involved in hematopoietic stem cell maintenance and megakaryopoiesis. The W515R mutation leads to constitutive activation of downstream JAK-STAT signaling, and is recurrently found in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), contributing to cytokine-independent growth and transformation. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.

The MPL (W515R) BAF3 Overexpression Cell Line serves as a robust model to study the role of MPL mutations in hematologic malignancies, particularly their impact on cytokine-independent proliferation, JAK-STAT pathway activation, and drug resistance. It is ideal for high-throughput screening of JAK inhibitors and targeted therapies for MPNs.
