The human NRAS (G13R) BAF3 cell line is a powerful tool for studying tumor biology, supporting IL-3 independent proliferation and the mechanisms.
Human NRAS (G13R) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine Ba/F3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. NRAS (G13R) BAF3 mutant cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human NRAS gene harboring the G13R point mutation into Ba/F3 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors.
Target
NRAS encodes a small GTPase involved in transducing signals from receptor tyrosine kinases to downstream pathways including RAF/MEK/ERK and PI3K/AKT. The G13R mutation is a hotspot oncogenic variant that impairs GTP hydrolysis, leading to constitutive NRAS activation. NRAS mutations are frequently associated with hematologic malignancies, melanoma, and colorectal cancer. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression and mutation-specific cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.

The NRAS (G13R) BAF3 Cell Line serves as a powerful tool to investigate RAS-driven transformation and targeted therapeutic approaches. This model enables mechanistic studies of IL-3-independent proliferation, constitutive MAPK activation, and resistance to MEK or RAF inhibitors. It is utilized for high-throughput drug screening and functional validation of anti-RAS strategies.
