Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells, Fresh are ideal for T-cell monitoring using ELISPOT, ELISA, flow cytometry, and cytokine detection assays.
Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs), Fresh are mononuclear cell populations isolated from healthy human peripheral blood, which are enriched from whole blood by density gradient centrifugation (e.g., Ficoll-Paque). These freshly isolated primary cells are typically not cultured or passaged. PBMCs mainly include lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. PBMCs are the core executors of innate and adaptive immune responses: T cells and B cells mediate specific immunity, NK cells exert killing functions, and monocytes can differentiate into macrophages or dendritic cells, participating in antigen presentation and inflammation regulation. These cells express common immune markers such as CD3 (T cells), CD19 (B cells), CD56 (NK cells), and CD14 (monocytes). Their abnormal activation or dysfunction is associated with a variety of diseases, such as T cell overactivation leading to graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), while monocyte infiltration promotes atherosclerotic plaque formation. As freshly isolated mononuclear cells from human peripheral blood, these peripheral mononuclear cells represent a key subset of peripheral blood cells for ex vivo immune monitoring and functional assays.

Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs), Fresh are widely used in immunology research, including infectious diseases (e.g., HIV, HCV), autoimmune diseases (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis), cancer immunotherapy, and vaccine development or evaluation. PBMCs are an ideal experimental system for investigating immune mechanisms, high-throughput drug screening, and biomarker identification.

Mononuclear cells are blood cells characterized by a single, round nucleus. In peripheral blood, they mainly include lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, and NK cells) and monocytes and play central roles in immune surveillance and inflammatory responses.
