Description

Human PSA-NCAM Positive (PSA-NCAM+) Neural Cells are derived from human embryonic or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) through directed neural differentiation. These cells represent immature, migratory neural progenitors that express high levels of PSA-NCAM—a marker critical for neurodevelopment, including neuronal migration and axonal growth. Morphologically, they exhibit a progenitor-like phenotype and grow either adherently or in suspension. These cells typically express Nestin, Sox2, and Musashi-1, with low expression of mature neuronal markers such as MAP2. PSA-NCAM+ status is confirmed via flow cytometry or immunofluorescence. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
