Human Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cells (HPAEC), Diabetic Type 2, also referred to as human T2D pulmonary artery endothelial cells, represent an in vitro model of diabetic pulmonary endothelium and are ideal for investigating molecular mechanisms of Type II diabetes–driven endothelial dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension, inflammation, oxidative stress, and impaired angiogenesis. They provide a robust in vitro model for studying hyperglycemia-induced vascular pathology in the pulmonary circulation.
