Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus(mousepox)Tumorigenecity: Isoenzyme: Histopathology: adenoma, urethan induced
LA-4 is a mouse hybridoma cell line derived from a 28-week-old Mus musculus with urethane-induced lung adenomas. The cells display lymphocyte-like morphology and grow in suspension. LA-4 has tumorigenic properties in vivo and has been widely used for antibody production and hybridoma research. These cells produce stable levels of monoclonal antibodies, maintain clonal characteristics over multiple passages, and exhibit consistent cytokine expression, making them a robust tool for immunological studies. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

LA-4 serves as a reliable model for hybridoma development, immunology research, and in vitro studies of antibody secretion, as well as for evaluating chemical carcinogenesis in mouse models. It is also suitable for high-throughput screening of antibody therapeutics, mechanistic studies of B-cell biology, and reproducible in vitro immunoassays. Its consistent growth and well-characterized origin make it suitable for long-term culture and reproducible experiments.
