NFS-70 C10 murine pro-B lymphoblasts grow in suspension, express CD5, CD32, CD45R, lack surface Ig, useful for studying early B-cell development.
NFS-70 C10 is a murine pro-B lymphoblast cell line derived from a lymphoma induced by murine leukemia virus (MuLV) in an NFS/N strain mouse. The cell exhibit typical lymphoblast morphology and grow in suspension culture. This model retains key markers of early B-cell differentiation, including CD5, CD32 (FcγRII), and CD45R (B220), alongside Mac-1 (CD11b), while lacking surface immunoglobulin and Ia antigens. Tumorigenic properties are implied by its lymphoma origin, although in vivo behavior has not been extensively characterized. This model provides a well-defined system for studying early B-cell differentiation, MuLV-mediated lymphomagenesis, and pro‑B lineage immunophenotyping in murine cell and virus research contexts.
