RPMI-8226/GFP Stable Cell Line with bright, sustained GFP expression by AcceGen for real-time tracking of multiple myeloma progression in vitro/in vivo.
RPMI-8226/GFP Stable Cell Line is a genetically engineered human multiple myeloma model created through stable integration of green fluorescent protein (GFP) into RPMI-8226 cells. This engineered cell line maintains native plasma cell characteristics including CD38 and CD138 expression while exhibiting bright, stable constitutive GFP fluorescence for real-time visualization. The constitutive GFP expression enables non-invasive tracking of tumor cell proliferation, migration and metastasis in both in vitro and in vivo studies without additional staining procedures. Particularly useful for drug screening and tumor microenvironment research, this cell line allows quantitative analysis through fluorescence imaging and flow cytometry. Cryopreserved at low passage (<P20) to ensure consistent GFP expression and genetic stability. The cells are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast and Bacteria.

The RPMI-8226/GFP Stable Cell Line is a fluorescent protein-labeled variant of the human multiple myeloma cell line RPMI-8226, featuring stable green fluorescent protein (GFP) expression. This engineered cell line enables real-time visualization and tracking of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo, making it particularly valuable for xenograft studies, metastasis research, and drug screening applications. The strong GFP signal permits sensitive detection by fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. Maintained in RPMI-1640 medium with appropriate selection antibiotics, this cell line offers a reliable tool for cancer biology and therapeutic development studies.
