RPMI-8226/RFP-Luciferase Stable Cell Line by AcceGen for simultaneous fluorescence imaging and sensitive tumor quantification in myeloma research.
RPMI-8226/RFP-Luciferase Stable Cell Line is a genetically engineered dual-reporter human multiple myeloma model featuring stable co-expression of red fluorescent protein (RFP) and luciferase in RPMI-8226 cells. This advanced cell line maintains native plasma cell characteristics including CD38/CD138 expression while offering both fluorescent and bioluminescent tracking capabilities. The RFP component enables real-time visual monitoring of tumor localization and metastasis through fluorescence imaging, while the luciferase reporter provides sensitive quantitative measurement of tumor burden via bioluminescence detection. This dual-modality system is particularly valuable for longitudinal studies requiring both spatial resolution (RFP) and quantitative sensitivity (luciferase), making it ideal for preclinical drug evaluation, metastasis research, and tumor microenvironment studies. Cryopreserved at low passage (<P20) to ensure stable dual-reporter expression and genetic integrity. The cells are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast and Bacteria.

The RPMI-8226/RFP-Luciferase Stable Cell Line is a dual-reporter variant of the human multiple myeloma cell line, engineered to co-express red fluorescent protein (RFP) and luciferase (Luc). This powerful combination enables both fluorescence-based imaging for cellular localization and bioluminescence quantification for longitudinal tumor monitoring. Ideal for xenograft studies, metastasis research, and compound screening, the cell line permits cross-validation through dual-modality detection. Maintain in RPMI-1640 medium with antibiotic selection to ensure reporter stability throughout experiments.
