Tetanus Toxoid Specific T Cells (HLA-DRB1*01 restricted) are human CD4+ T lymphocytes isolated from peripheral blood, which specifically recognize a peptide derived from tetanus toxoid presented in the context of HLA-DRB1*01. Following the primary culture, these cells are cryopreserved. These cells are primarily CD4+ T helper cells and play a critical role in initiating protective immune responses against tetanus. Understanding the characteristics and epitope recognition of these cells is essential for optimizing tetanus vaccines and developing novel strategies for tetanus prevention. Cells should be cultured according to AcceGen’s recommended culture conditions. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thaw cycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
