Human CCR2b stably expressed in CHOK1 cells, optimized for chemokine receptor assays and research on monocyte recruitment and inflammation mechanisms.
Xpress™ Human CCR2b Overexpression Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected Chinese hamster ovary (CHOK1) parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. CCR2b CHOK1 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human CCR2b into CHOK1 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The CCR2b gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor involved in monocyte chemotaxis and immune cell migration, responding primarily to CCL2. It plays a central role in inflammatory responses and is implicated in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, atherosclerosis, and cancer. The protein localizes to the cell surface and activates downstream calcium and MAPK signaling. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
Application
The CCR2b CHOK1 Overexpression Cell Line serves as a powerful tool to investigate CCR2b-driven inflammatory signaling and cell trafficking. This model enables mechanistic studies of chemokine-receptor interactions in chronic inflammation and tumor immunology. It is used for screening CCR2b-targeted compounds and evaluating therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
