The CD36 HEK293 overexpression cell line is an important model for studying lipid uptake mechanisms and tumor-associated macrophage interactions.
CD36 HEK293 Overexpression Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected human embryonic kidney (HEK293) parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. CD36 HEK293 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human CD36 into HEK293 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The CD36 gene encodes a transmembrane scavenger receptor involved in fatty acid uptake, lipid metabolism, and immune regulation. CD36 is highly expressed in macrophages, adipocytes, and endothelial cells, and plays critical roles in atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome, and cancer metastasis. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
