Utilize BALB/c Mouse Dermal Lymphatic Endothelial Cells to study lymphatic vessel biology, immune transport, and dermal microvascular interactions.
BALB/c Mouse Dermal Lymphatic Endothelial Cells (LECs) are primary cells isolated from the dermal tissue of pathogen-free BALB/c mice, making them an ideal model for strain specific dermal lymphatic endothelial cells studies. These cells exhibit typical endothelial morphology and function as key regulators of lymphangiogenesis, immune cell trafficking, and interstitial fluid drainage. They express specific markers such as podoplanin (PDPN), a transmembrane glycoprotein critical for lymphatic endothelial adhesion, migration, and tube formation. Studies highlight their role in skin inflammation models, including atopic dermatitis (AD), where they contribute to pathological Th2 cytokine responses (e.g., elevated IL-4/IL-5) and IgE-mediated hypersensitivity. Karyotype analysis confirms the chromosomal stability of BALB/c Mouse Dermal Lymphatic Endothelial Cells. These cells have limited proliferative capacity and cannot be passaged extensively. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

BALB/c Mouse Dermal LECs serve as a robust in vitro model for studying lymphatic vessel biology, including mechanisms of lymphangiogenesis, inflammatory skin diseases, and tumor lymphatic metastasis. These cells are also utilized in drug development to investigate lymphatic-targeted therapies and VEGF pathway inhibitors. Furthermore, these cells exhibit inducible expression of adhesion molecules such as LYVE-1 and VEGFR-3, crucial for lymphatic endothelial cell migration and vessel remodeling. Their responsiveness to inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α enables detailed studies on lymphatic inflammation and immune modulation.
