Description

BALB/c Mouse Lymphatic Fibroblasts are primary fibroblasts isolated from lymphatic tissues of BALB/c mice (Mus musculus). These fibroblasts constitute a crucial component of the lymphatic stromal microenvironment, contributing to extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, lymph node architecture, and immune cell migration regulation. In culture, these cells display the typical spindle-shaped fibroblast morphology and adhere robustly to culture substrates. They are characterized by expression of mesenchymal markers such as vimentin and fibroblast-specific protein 1. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • BALB/c Mouse Lymphatic Fibroblasts serve as an essential in vitro model for studying the stromal components of the lymphatic system. They are particularly useful in investigating lymph node remodeling, fibrosis, and the regulation of immune cell trafficking through the lymphatic vasculature. These fibroblasts also contribute to understanding the mechanisms underlying lymphatic vessel remodeling in inflammation, cancer metastasis, and lymphedema. Furthermore, they can be incorporated into co-culture systems with lymphatic endothelial cells and immune populations to recreate aspects of the lymphatic microenvironment for immunological and pathological research.
