C57BL/6 Mouse Primary Artery Fibroblasts from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
C57BL/6 Mouse Artery Fibroblasts are isolated from the arterial tissues of C57BL/6 mice. Morphologically, these cells typically exhibit a spindle-shaped or polygonal shape with slender processes, intertwining with each other to form a network. They grow in an adherent manner. These cells express vimentin, which is a characteristic intermediate filament protein of fibroblasts and is crucial for maintaining cell morphology and structural stability. These fibroblasts play key roles in vascular tissues. They synthesize and secrete extracellular matrix components, such as collagen and elastin, providing structural support for blood vessels. They also contribute to vascular repair following injury by proliferating and migrating to repopulate damaged regions, making them valuable for mouse model c57bl 6 arterial research and vascular fibroblast studies in C57BL/6. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

In the research of vascular diseases, C57BL/6 Mouse Artery Fibroblasts can be used to mimic the pathological changes of fibroblasts in disease states such as atherosclerosis and vascular fibrosis, thereby revealing the mechanisms underlying the occurrence and development of these diseases. In drug development and evaluation, they can serve as in vitro experimental subjects to examine the effects of drugs on fibroblast functions like proliferation, migration, and extracellular matrix secretion.
