C57BL/6 Mouse Primary Ovarian Epithelial Cells from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
C57BL/6 Mouse Ovarian Epithelial Cells are derived from the ovarian tissue of C57BL/6 mice. These epithelial cells form a continuous layer on the ovarian surface and play essential roles in ovarian physiology, including follicular development, hormone signaling, ovulatory repair, and surface regeneration. In vitro, these cells exhibit a typical cobblestone morphology and express epithelial markers such as cytokeratin 8/18 and E-cadherin. Ovarian epithelial cells are widely used in research on ovarian aging, epithelial ovarian carcinogenesis, endocrine regulation, and tissue remodeling. They provide a valuable in vitro model for exploring mechanisms of ovarian homeostasis and disease progression. These cells exhibit limited proliferative capacity and cannot be extensively subcultured under standard conditions. To preserve cellular integrity, repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be strictly avoided during the culture process. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

C57BL/6 Mouse Ovarian Epithelial Cells provide a useful in vitro platform for studying ovarian surface epithelium function and pathology. These cells, also known as Murine ovarian epithelial primary cells, are derived from the Mouse ovary epithelium and are commonly used in research on ovarian cancer development, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), hormonal regulation, and ovulation-related tissue remodeling.
