C57BL/6 Mouse Pancreatic Epithelial Cells provide reliable models for pancreatic research, supporting disease mechanisms and functional studies.
C57BL/6 Mouse Pancreatic Epithelial Cells are derived from the pancreatic tissue of C57BL/6 mice. These cells, also known as C57BL/6 pancreatic epithelial cells or Primary mouse pancreatic epithelial cells, are derived from the Murine pancreas epithelium. They form the epithelial lining of pancreatic ducts and acinar structures, contributing to the regulation of digestive enzyme secretion, epithelial polarity, and barrier integrity. In vitro, these cells typically display a cobblestone-like or polygonal morphology, characteristic of epithelial monolayers. They express canonical epithelial markers such as E-cadherin and cytokeratin 19. They provide a valuable in vitro model for investigating pancreatic organogenesis, epithelial-mesenchymal interactions, immune-related inflammation, and pathologies such as pancreatitis, fibrosis, and pancreatic cancer. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria. Care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
