C57BL/6 Mouse Placental Microvascular Endothelial Cells provide a vascular model for placental biology, angiogenesis, and developmental studies.
C57BL/6 Mouse Placental Endothelial Cells are derived from the placental tissue of C57BL/6 mice. These cells, also known as murine placental vascular endothelial cells, originate from the mouse placental endothelium and line the blood vessels within the placenta. Placental endothelial cells are involved in processes such as angiogenesis, nutrient transport, and barrier regulation. Studies have shown their relevance in investigating placental development, preeclampsia, and intrauterine growth restriction. In vitro, these cells express canonical endothelial markers such as CD31 and von Willebrand Factor (vWF). These cells should be avoided to subject them to repeated freezing and thawing during culture. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.
