Apply CD-1 Mouse Cerebellar Granule Cells to study neurodevelopment, cerebellar circuitry formation, and excitatory neuronal populations in vitro.
CD-1 Mouse Cerebellar Granule Cells are primary neurons isolated from the cerebellum of healthy neonatal, pathogen-free CD-1 mice via enzymatic digestion and gentle mechanical dissociation to maintain high viability and function. Cultured cells exhibit typical granule neuron morphology with small, round cell bodies and extensive neurite networks. They express neuronal markers including NeuN and GABAA receptor subunits, providing a robust model for cerebellar cellular response and granule cell physiology in CD-1 mice. These high-quality cells also support neurodevelopment studies in the CD-1 mouse cerebellum and are ready for immediate culture and experimentation. These high-quality cells provide a robust model for cerebellar neurobiology and neurodevelopment studies, ready for immediate culture and experimentation. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

These granule cells are perfect for deep dives into cerebellar neuron development, synaptic transmission, and electrophysiological studies. They support diverse applications like calcium imaging, high-throughput drug screening, and neurotoxicity assays with reproducible results. Their preserved receptor expression profiles and neurite complexity make them a standout choice for studying neurodegenerative diseases, developmental disorders, and CNS injury responses. The high viability and purity reduce experimental variability, allowing for more confident interpretation of data and accelerating translational research.
