Mouse Primary Cells from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
CD-1 Mouse Intestinal Cells are primary intestinal epithelial cells isolated from pathogen-free CD-1 mouse tissue using gentle enzymatic digestion and mechanical dissociation to preserve viability and intrinsic function. These adherent cells exhibit typical epithelial morphology and limited expansion potential, providing a model for studying CD-1 mouse gut cell differentiation. The cells are cultured following AcceGen’s recommended conditions to maintain native characteristics. These primary intestinal cells provide a physiologically relevant model for gastrointestinal research, epithelial biology studies, and drug screening applications. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD-1 Mouse Intestinal Cells are ideal for modeling intestinal physiology, barrier function, and host-pathogen interactions, supporting intestinal tissue studies in CD-1 mice. They support studies on nutrient absorption, drug permeability, and inflammatory bowel disease. These cells are compatible with standard molecular biology techniques such as RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry, enabling researchers to investigate gene expression, protein localization, and cellular signaling pathways.
