Mouse Primary Cells from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
CD-1 Mouse Kidney Cells are primary renal epithelial cells isolated from pathogen-free CD-1 mouse kidney tissue using gentle enzymatic digestion and mechanical dissociation to preserve viability and intrinsic function, providing a model for studying CD-1 mouse kidney physiology and the CD-1 mouse urinary system. These adherent cells exhibit typical epithelial morphology and limited expansion potential. The cells are cultured following AcceGen’s recommended conditions to maintain native characteristics. These primary kidney cells provide a physiologically relevant model for renal biology, kidney disease studies, and drug screening applications. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD-1 Mouse Kidney Cells serve as a reliable in vitro model to study renal physiology, cellular transport, nephrotoxicity, and kidney-related diseases. They are widely used for drug screening, toxicity assays, and molecular investigations involving RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent staining, and flow cytometry. Their robust growth and high viability make them ideal for generating specialized kidney cell derivatives and for applications in renal tissue engineering and regenerative medicine research.
