Mouse Primary Cells from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
CD-1 Mouse Lung Cells are primary cells isolated from the lung tissue of pathogen-free CD-1 mice. This heterogeneous population includes epithelial cells, fibroblasts, and pulmonary endothelial cells. The cells are typically spindle- or polygonal-shaped and display adherent growth in vitro, supporting CD-1 mouse lung cell interactions. These cells play essential roles in maintaining alveolar structure, regulating airway barrier function. They are extensively used in studies of pulmonary inflammation, fibrosis, and lung injury models, including acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Karyotype analysis confirms chromosomal stability, and the cells express lung-specific markers such as surfactant protein C (SP-C) and E-cadherin. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD-1 Mouse Lung Cells serve as a robust in vitro system for studying lung development, pulmonary inflammation, airway remodeling, and respiratory toxicity. They are highly suitable for applications including cytokine response assays, fibrosis pathway analysis, and gene expression profiling under various inflammatory or toxic conditions. These cells also support studies in lung infection, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cancer, and lung tissue repair in CD-1 mice. Their compatibility with standard molecular techniques such as RT-PCR, Western blotting, flow cytometry, and immunostaining further extends their utility for respiratory research and functional studies in pulmonary biology.
