CD57 Mouse Neurons Dorsal Spinal Cord provide reliable neuronal models for studying central nervous system development, signaling, and function.
CD57 Mouse Dorsal Spinal Cord Neurons are primary neurons isolated from the dorsal region of the spinal cord of C57BL/6 mice. These cells consist primarily of dorsal horn neurons, which are crucial components of sensory signal transmission, particularly for nociceptive and mechanosensory pathways. These neurons form extensive neuritic networks and display characteristic excitability under stimulation. After isolation, the neurons are cryopreserved at early passage to maintain viability and functionality. Morphologically, they exhibit typical neuronal characteristics with extended axonal and dendritic processes and form interconnected networks in vitro. These neurons are non-dividing and cannot be passaged, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided. Dorsal spinal neurons express neuronal markers such as NeuN and βIII-tubulin. This cell population is widely used in research focused on pain mechanisms, spinal cord injury, and neurodegenerative disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and multiple sclerosis (MS). Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD57 Mouse Dorsal Spinal Cord Neurons are an ideal in vitro model for CD57 mouse motor neuron research, sensory processing, and spinal neuroplasticity. They are especially useful for investigating molecular and synaptic changes following spinal cord injury or inflammatory stimulation. These neurons support electrophysiological studies, calcium imaging, and gene expression analyses, helping to uncover the pathophysiological mechanisms of chronic pain and neuroinflammation. Their application facilitates the screening of novel analgesic compounds and the evaluation of neuroprotective strategies in spinal cord-related disorders. In addition, dorsal spinal neurons provide a physiologically relevant model for dissecting neurotransmitter dynamics in nociceptive circuits.
