Human Brain Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Brain Stem Cells are derived from fetal human brain tissue and cultured under defined conditions to maintain their multipotency and self-renewal capabilities. These cells display typical neural stem cell morphology, characterized by small, round cell bodies with prominent nuclei and the ability to form neurospheres. They express neural stem cell markers such as Nestin, Tubulin, Neuroepithelial (NEP), O-2A, O4, GFAP, MAP2, NF-L,NF, HOXA1, . These stem cells possess the capacity to differentiate into neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes, reflecting their tripotent nature. The cells are extensively characterized by immunocytochemistry and flow cytometry to confirm marker expression and functional potential. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Brain Stem Cells are widely used to investigate neural development, neurogenesis, and the mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. They provide a reliable in vitro model for drug screening, toxicity testing, and gene function studies related to the central nervous system. These cells are applicable in regenerative medicine research, including cell replacement therapy and brain injury repair models. Their multipotency allows for differentiation into multiple neural lineages, facilitating studies of neural circuitry and synaptic integration.
