Human Glioma Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Glioma Cancer Stem Cells (HGCSCs) are isolated from primary human glioblastoma tissues and represent a subpopulation of tumor-initiating cells with self-renewing, multipotent, and highly tumorigenic properties. These cells typically grow as neurospheres in serum-free neural stem cell medium and express stem cell markers including CD133, CD44, SSEA3/4, Oct4. They are capable of differentiating into astrocytic, neuronal, and oligodendrocytic lineages, modeling glioma development and recurrence. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Glioma Cancer Stem Cells serve as a cutting-edge platform for studying glioblastoma pathogenesis, resistance mechanisms, and tumor recurrence. They are ideal for developing and screening targeted therapies against glioma stemness pathways such as Notch, Hedgehog, and Wnt. GCSCs are also suitable for testing radiotherapy and chemotherapeutic responses in vitro and in orthotopic xenograft models. Their relevance in recapitulating tumor hierarchy makes them indispensable in preclinical glioma drug development and biomarker discovery.
