Human Colon Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Colon Cancer Stem Cells (HCCSCs) are isolated from primary human colon tumor tissues and enriched for tumor-initiating subpopulations using CD133, CD44, SSEA3/4, Oct4 markers. These cells exhibit high clonogenicity, self-renewal capacity, and sphere-forming ability under defined serum-free conditions. CCSCs display epithelial morphology with irregular colonies and nuclear atypia, consistent with cancer stem cell properties. These cells can differentiate into heterogeneous tumor cell types under specific conditions, mimicking intratumoral diversity. In vivo, they recapitulate tumor formation in xenograft models, validating their stemness and tumorigenic potential. CCSCs provide an authentic model to study tumor hierarchy, drug resistance, metastasis, and relapse. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Colon Cancer Stem Cells are valuable for studying the mechanisms of tumor initiation, chemoresistance, and recurrence in colorectal cancer. Their use enables modeling of colon cancer progression, epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT), and metastasis. Researchers can utilize CCSCs in drug screening platforms to evaluate CSC-targeted therapies and investigate resistance to conventional chemotherapeutics. Their capacity to form tumors in xenografts makes them a powerful tool for translational oncology and personalized medicine, especially in evaluating patient-specific treatment responses and biomarkers.
