Induced Pluriopotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) Type 2 Diabetes Donor
HighQC™ Human iPSCs (Type 2 Diabetes) are disease-specific induced pluripotent stem cells derived from dermal fibroblasts of a clinically confirmed Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) donor. These cells were reprogrammed from dermal fibroblasts using non-integrating vectors. The cells maintain the capacity to differentiate into glucose-responsive cell types, including pancreatic β-cells and insulin-sensitive hepatocytes, making them a physiologically relevant model for metabolic disease research. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human iPSCs (Type 2 Diabetes) serve as a HighQC diabetes model for studying the pathogenic mechanisms of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), including insulin resistance, β-cell dysfunction, and impaired glucose metabolism. This model can be used for drug screening to identify and evaluate potential pharmacological compounds capable of modulating insulin signaling or protecting β-cell function. Furthermore, these patient-derived cells provide a platform for research into cell replacement strategies, which can be differentiated into functional insulin-producing cells.
