Human iPSC-Derived GABAergic neurons SNCA A53T/WT provide a defined in vitro Parkinson’s disease CNS model for reproducible neuroscience research.
HighQC Human iPSC-Derived GABAergic neurons SNCA A53T/WT are human iPSC-derived GABAergic neurons generated from a human iPSC line originally derived from adult skin fibroblasts. These cryopreserved cells provide a defined in vitro model for Parkinson’s disease research involving central nervous system biology. The cells are produced through a directed differentiation protocol to support reproducible lineage-specific experimental systems. This line carries a heterozygous SNCA A53T missense mutation paired with one wild-type (WT) allele, modeling alpha-synuclein aggregation-associated familial Parkinson’s disease, without implying a fixed clinical phenotype. They exhibit functional characteristics of GABAergic neurons. Quality control testing includes sterility assessment and lineage characterization by protein expression and gene expression assays, where applicable. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

HighQC Human iPSC-Derived GABAergic neurons SNCA A53T/WT are intended for research use in controlled in vitro workflows. They can be used for disease-relevant mechanism studies, genotype-associated pathway analysis, target validation, and candidate therapeutic evaluation in a human iPSC-derived glutamatergic neuron model. As a heterozygous SNCA A53T/WT mutation model, this line supports studies of alpha-synuclein aggregation, Lewy body-associated pathology, and dopaminergic neuron dysfunction relevant to familial Parkinson’s disease, at the mechanistic and assay-development level, not for clinical or diagnostic use.
