Description

HighQC™ Neural Progenitors-Opioid Addicted are neural progenitor cells generated from iPSCs reprogrammed from IRB-approved donors with a documented clinical diagnosis of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). These cells maintain expression of neural markers such as SOX2, Nestin, and PAX6 and are capable of differentiating into mature neuronal cell types. This model provides an innovative platform for investigating the neurobiological effects of opioid addiction at the cellular level, including synaptic regulation and neuroinflammation. These cells are also suitable for drug screening, gene expression analysis, and studies on tolerance and withdrawal mechanisms. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • HighQC™ Neural Progenitors-Opioid Addicted enable the study of opioid-induced changes in neural development, receptor regulation, and synaptic function. These Opiate-exposed human NPCs are instrumental in research on opioid addiction, withdrawal mechanisms, and screening potential therapies targeting neurobiological effects of opioids. Their capacity to recapitulate patient-specific neural responses to opioids enhances the translational value of preclinical findings in addiction research.
