Rat Lung Stem Cells; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Rat Lung Stem Cells (R LSCs) are multipotent progenitors isolated from the lung parenchyma of healthy postnatal rats, playing a role in airway and alveolar epithelium maintenance. In vitro, R LSCs exhibit adherent, cuboidal or epithelial-like morphology and possess robust self-renewal capacity. Under defined differentiation conditions, they can generate multiple lung epithelial lineages, including alveolar type I and II cells, club cells, and ciliated cells, and are capable of forming 3D lung organoids. Their responsiveness to injury-associated signals and multilineage differentiation potential make them valuable models for respiratory regeneration, fibrosis research, and pulmonary toxicology. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Rat Lung Stem Cells, a rat lung-derived stem cell line (rat pulmonary progenitor cells), are ideal for studying lung development, epithelial regeneration, and stem cell plasticity in the respiratory system. They support research into pulmonary fibrosis, chronic airway diseases, viral infection models, and cell-based lung repair strategies. As a rat lung-derived stem cell line, their multipotent differentiation potential makes them valuable in high-throughput drug screening and toxicology assays targeting lung-specific pathways.
