HT-115 cell line is a colorectal carcinoma model widely applied for cancer research, drug discovery, and molecular investigations of oncogenic pathways.
HT-115 is a human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line originally established from a primary colon tumor of an adult patient. It exhibits an epithelial-like morphology and grows as adherent monolayers in standard culture. HT-115 displays a heterozygous TP53 p.Arg213Ter mutation, reflecting a common tumor suppressor alteration in colorectal cancer. HT-115 cells show microsatellite stability (MSS) and have been characterized at transcriptomic, proteomic, and drug screening levels, supporting their utility in molecular oncology studies. HT-115 cell line demonstrates invasive characteristics and responds to differentiation-inducing agents. As a malignant tumor model, it provides a platform for investigation of colorectal cancer biology and therapeutic targets. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

HT-115 cells are used as an in vitro model of colorectal adenocarcinoma to study tumor cell proliferation, differentiation, adhesion properties, and response to therapeutic agents. They support investigations in drug sensitivity assays, signal transduction pathways, and molecular mechanisms underlying colorectal cancer progression.
