Description

Human Cord Blood Plasma (hUCB plasma) is derived from the cord blood of healthy human full-term donors. The tissue source is umbilical cord blood, and the product consists of the cell-free, liquid component of blood that remains after the removal of cellular elements such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. This plasma contains a rich mix of proteins, cytokines, growth factors, antibodies, and other soluble molecules reflective of the neonatal circulatory environment. It is collected under sterile conditions, processed by centrifugation to remove cells, and immediately frozen to preserve its biochemical integrity. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • Human cord blood plasma is ideal for studying neonatal immunity, early hematopoiesis, cytokine environments, and maternal-fetal transfer of antibodies. It is widely used in cell culture as a supplement, in biomarker discovery, immune modulation assays, and for investigating plasma-derived exosomes or extracellular vesicles. It also serves as a valuable resource for exploring the mechanisms of fetal development and the potential therapeutic applications in regenerative medicine.
