Apply Human Fetal Liver Cells CD133+ Cells for stem cell biology, liver development research, and regenerative medicine applications in vitro.
Human Fetal Liver Cells CD133+ Cells are primarily derived from fetal liver tissues and represent a population of human fetal hepatic progenitors. These cells express the transmembrane glycoprotein CD133 on their surface and exhibit progenitor-like properties, including self-renewal capacity and multilineage differentiation potential. In vitro, they are capable of forming colonies and differentiating into hepatocyte-like cells and other liver-associated lineages such as cholangiocytes. Functionally, CD133+ cells not only participate in liver development but also serve as a crucial component of the hematopoietic stem cell microenvironment, supporting the in vitro expansion of hematopoietic stem cells. CD133+ cells are present in normal fetal liver, but elevated CD133 expression has been linked to cancer and may mark putative cancer stem cells in hepatocellular carcinoma. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Fetal Liver Cells CD133+ Cells serve as a valuable model for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying hepatocyte differentiation and proliferation, offering critical insights into liver development. Moreover, their ability to differentiate into functional hepatocytes holds promise for liver regeneration therapies, potentially offering a novel therapeutic approach for end-stage liver diseases.
