HIV-1 is the most common subtype of the lentivirus HIV which infects T helper cells of the immune system.
Human HIV-1 PB (Human HIV-1 Peripheral Blood) is derived from peripheral blood of donors chronically infected with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). Peripheral blood from infected individuals contains key immune subsets—particularly CD4+ T cells and monocytes—that serve as reservoirs for latent HIV. These samples are useful for examining viral load dynamics, immune activation markers, and treatment resistance mechanisms. Moreover, HIV-1 peripheral blood (PB) models are crucial in evaluating the efficacy of broadly neutralizing antibodies and vaccine responses in natural infection. Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis.

Human HIV-1 Peripheral Blood provides immune cells that are critical for studying disease progression, immune activation, and the impact of chronic HIV-1 infection on systemic immunity. It enables research into immune biomarkers, vaccine development, and T cell-based therapies. The sample supports ELISA, T cell proliferation assays, and ex vivo antigen stimulation experiments.
