Human whole kidney cells are derived from whole kidneys that have been dissociated into single cells and frozen. Human whole kidney cells are from a single donor. These cells enable researchers to produce various cell types such as glomerular, cortical, and tubular epithelial cells found within the urinary system using standard published protocols. Human whole kidney cells may be used for various types of in vitro studies, drug screening toxicity assays, viral studies, or transplantation studies into normal or diseased systems
