Human Kidney Cells, Uncultured, are single-cell suspensions derived from the dissociation of normal human kidneys from a single donor. These cryopreserved primary cells contain a heterogeneous mixture of renal cell types, including glomerular, cortical, and tubular epithelial cells, reflecting the cellular diversity of the nephron and interstitial compartments. These uncultured cells are non-adherent and cannot be serially passaged, preserving in vivo phenotypic diversity at the single-use level. They enable the derivation of functional renal subpopulations for customized assays. This uncultured format preserves native cell surface markers and signaling profiles essential for cell-cell interaction and kidney tissue dynamics. Their broad cellular potential supports downstream applications in renal toxicology, virology, and regenerative modeling. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
