Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells, Stimulatory Supplement Cord Blood support angiogenesis assays and endothelial function analysis in vascular models.
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells, Stimulatory Supplement Cord Blood are primary endothelial cells isolated from the umbilical vein of human umbilical cords. This product is supplied with a cord blood–derived stimulatory supplement, which may enhance cell proliferation and support endothelial functional activity under in vitro culture conditions. These cells exhibit a typical cobblestone-like morphology when cultured in vitro. They play essential roles in vascular tone regulation, angiogenesis, and inflammatory responses by secreting vasoactive molecules (e.g., nitric oxide) and cytokines. These cells express CD31. The cells are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells, Stimulatory Supplement Cord Blood are extensively utilized in biomedical research due to their relevance in vascular physiology and pathology. Their primary applications include studying angiogenesis, vascular permeability, inflammation, and endothelial dysfunction. In drug discovery, these cells serve as a screening platform for anti-angiogenic compounds and endothelial-protective agents, particularly in cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
