Description

Mouse pulmonary arteriole smooth muscle cells are isolated from pulmonary arteriole tissue. The pulmonary artery originates from the right ventricle and courses obliquely upward and backward to the left before the aorta, dividing into the left and right pulmonary arteries below the aortic arch, which then enter the lungs through the pulmonary hilum.
