Rabbit Arterial Smooth Muscle Cells (RbASMC) are primary smooth muscle cells isolated from the arterial wall of rabbits. These cells are derived from the tunica media of medium- to large-caliber arteries and expanded in vitro before cryopreservation at early passage. They exhibit typical spindle-shaped morphology and adhere to culture surfaces as monolayers. Functionally, these cells regulate vascular tone, contribute to vessel remodeling, and participate in inflammatory responses under pathological stimuli. Rabbit arterial smooth muscle cells express contractile markers such as α-SMA, SM22α, and calponin. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
