Description

Rabbit Liver Hepatocytes (RLH) are primary epithelial cells isolated from the liver tissue of rabbits. These hepatocytes exhibit polygonal morphology with granular cytoplasm and grow adherently in vitro. These cells carry out key hepatic functions including xenobiotic metabolism, plasma protein synthesis, and bile secretion. The isolated cells express hepatic-specific markers such as albumin and cytokeratin 18. All cells are cryopreserved at early passage. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
