Rabbit Vascular Fibroblasts

Description

Rabbit Vascular Fibroblasts (RVF) are primary mesenchymal cells isolated from the vascular tissue of rabbits. These spindle-shaped, adherent cells are key regulators of extracellular matrix (ECM) homeostasis in the vascular microenvironment. They secrete structural proteins such as collagen I, fibronectin, and hyaluronic acid, playing central roles in vessel wall remodeling, stiffness regulation, and endothelial support. Rabbit vascular fibroblasts also express vimentin, markers consistent with activated perivascular fibroblast phenotypes. Their interactions with endothelial cells influence angiogenic behavior and matrix organization during vascular development and repair. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
