Description

Rat Bone Marrow Fibroblasts are primary bone marrow stromal fibroblasts isolated from the bone marrow of healthy adult rats. These mesenchymal-derived fibroblasts exhibit a spindle-shaped morphology and form monolayers under standard culture conditions. They are non-hematopoietic stromal cells, primarily involved in extracellular matrix (ECM) secretion, hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) support, and niche regulation. Functionally, they contribute to immune modulation, wound repair, and cytokine signaling within the marrow microenvironment. Rat bone marrow fibroblasts express mesenchymal marker vimentin. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
