Primary rat colonic microvascular endothelial cells isolated from colon microvascular tissue, provided at 0.5 million viable cells per vial for research use.
Rat Colonic Microvascular Endothelial Cells are derived from rat colon microvascular tissue. Microvascular endothelial cells form the inner lining of small blood vessels and are critical for regulating vascular permeability, nutrient exchange, and inflammatory cell migration within the colon. Following primary isolation and culture, these cells are cryopreserved for research applications. Colonic microvascular endothelial cells participate in angiogenesis, immune regulation, and maintenance of intestinal vascular homeostasis. These cells have been reported to express endothelial-associated markers such as CD31, VE-cadherin, and von Willebrand factor. In vitro, the cells exhibit adherent growth with a typical cobblestone-like endothelial morphology. Rat colonic microvascular endothelial cells are commonly used in vascular biology, inflammatory bowel disease research, angiogenesis studies, and intestinal inflammation investigations. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.
