Rat Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells (rBMMCs) are primary cells freshly isolated from the femoral and tibial bone marrow of healthy rats. These cells consist of a heterogeneous population of lymphocytes, monocytes, and hematopoietic cells obtained by density gradient centrifugation. Typically exhibiting a non-adherent, round morphology, rBMMCs maintain their native biological properties through immediate cryopreservation after isolation. They are essential to hematopoietic research due to their immunomodulatory properties. Functionally, rBMMCs participate in immune regulation, inflammatory responses, and tissue regeneration. They have been widely used in models of graft-versus-host disease, autoimmune disorders, and bone marrow transplantation. They exhibit characteristic surface marker expression (CD45⁺/CD11b⁺) confirming their hematopoietic lineage and immunomodulatory potential. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
